About Gracious Offering

Igniting hope and inspiring generosity — cultivating a community of change activists who believe real transformation is possible.

Backstory

How it began

This transformative journey began when God stirred our founder’s heart to host a picnic in October 2022 — an event named “Jesus and the Girls.” That seemingly simple act opened her eyes to realities long overlooked, and revealed the profound impact that small acts of kindness and service can have on the lives of those around us.

Growing up in a small village in KZN, Emxasheni, while also experiencing life in the city of Pretoria, gave her a unique perspective — the value of community and ubuntu in the village, contrasted with the individual pursuits that often dominate city life.

“In this world, we have soil and money. Many are busy chasing money while neglecting the soil. Yet money can’t make soil, but soil can make money.”

Those words from her grandfather are a powerful reminder of the forgotten strength of unity and community. With Gracious Offering, we aim to ignite hope and inspire generosity, and to encourage open conversations about the issues that hinder our unity — both in heart and in action.

Project Exposure

Bridging the information and opportunity gap between under-resourced schools and more privileged communities.

Through school partnerships, career guidance programmes, university application support, campus visits and career days, we come alongside schools to identify areas for growth — ensuring that every learner has the tools, opportunities and support to thrive during and beyond their schooling years. We believe every individual deserves a chance to dream, to discover, and to do more — and that with the right support, real transformation is possible.
